Therefore the Chinese government launched a program of subsidies for environmentally friendly car buyers. This program aims to accelerate the reduction of gas emissions from vehicles. While the environmentally friendly car is meant as a hybrid or electric cars.

Chinese government provided subsidies will be implemented in five cities as a pilot. So that residents of the five cities will be memeroleh subsidy to purchase environmentally friendly cars. As in the city of Shanghai, Shenzen, Hangzhaou, Hefei and Changchun would receive a subsidy of 50,000 yuan, or about USD 68 million. The biggest subsidies for buyers of electric cars that reached 60,000 yuan, or USD 82 million.
